See which claimed quantities are backed by accepted inspections.
Fictional sample · Prototype / Day 4Inspection systems, schedules and cost systems on large programmes each hold part of the evidence used to assess progress. This fictional sample connects the schedule activity and BOQ line to scoped inspection events, then calculates the measurement sheet. Open the worked example to follow one decision and its value.

Project files contain inspection events, reference rows, definitions, mappings and cut-off. Values are recalculated on reopen. Measurement reports are separate outputs. No field synchronisation is connected.

Compare what was planned, what passed inspection and what the contractor claimed. Where the figures disagree, identify the line the quantity surveyor needs to reconcile before a payment review.
The bill of quantities (BOQ) defines the priced work. Accepted quantities are multiplied by the agreed stage weights and line rates. This is draft measurement; contract terms and an authorised reviewer still determine certification and payment.
Choose the work, its location and the relevant reference. This preparation form saves a reference-only row. To try a measured inspection that changes credited value, open “Try an inspection” on the Measurement sheet.
The sample links a schedule activity, BOQ line and inspection stage. A reference-only row earns no credit. The separate lot workflow records a scoped request and an inspection decision; attachments and field synchronisation are not connected.
Find the request or inspection decision relevant to a quantity. Check its status and reference, then follow up the missing or unsupported work with the contractor or inspector.
Measured lot decisions and reference-only records are identified separately. Corrections retain their predecessors. Accepted value comes from the active scoped inspection events; a row in the register is not by itself proof of completion.

Try an inspection, then compare the accepted quantity with the contractor’s application. A correction changes the draft value so the quantity surveyor can explain what needs adjusting.
Pending and failed inspections earn no credit. Active accepted lots drive cumulative inspected percentages, weighted by stage. Current-period measurement compares that basis with the previous cumulative amount. These figures support review; they do not authorise payment.
Local demo · decisions apply at 31-Aug-2026. Measured ranges identify unique scope within each stage; they are sample quantity ranges, not surveyed chainage. Accepted edits are saved in this browser when storage is available. Export project above for a portable backup.

SAR amounts use cents. Rates and quantities retain up to six decimals. Displayed percentages always use two decimals; exports retain raw percentages. Amounts use the underlying stage quantities. “This period” is signed: a negative row is an adjustment requiring review. Net difference = applied above inspected − inspected above applied.
CSV and JSON download the current sample measurement and totals. External-system buttons and sign-off remain simulations. These downloads are calculation reports, not restorable project files or certified invoices.
Choose a line and follow its calculated value back to the inspection decisions and corrections. Use that trail to explain why a quantity was included or reduced.
The trace uses local events, references and notes. The illustrated source documents, photos, geotags and signed certificates are proposed features. A complete claims-bundle export and independent document verification are not implemented.
See which schedule activity and inspection stage belong to each priced work item. This shared reference helps the planner and quantity surveyor resolve a mismatch before it reaches the measurement sheet.
The fictional sample contains predefined activity-to-BOQ mappings and stage weights. This screen displays those definitions; it is not a live integration or an editable, governed mapping service. Project export preserves the current definitions.
